CIIM New York is the headquarters and governing and administrative body for CIIM USA. The choice was a natural one since New York City is an international center for business, finance, fashion, medicine, entertainment, media, and culture. Moreover, New York has a massive Italian population with almost 1 in 10 New Yorkers stating their ancestry as Italian.
The New York metropolitan area had an estimated gross metropolitan product of $901.3 billion in 2004, the largest in the United States. New York is unique among American cities for its large number of foreign corporations. One out of every ten private sector jobs in the city is with a foreign company.
CIIM USA was born to help Italian entrepreneurs reach into this market and work together to finding new ways to do business here.
