CIIM, Confederazione degli Imprenditori Italiani nel Mondo (Confederation of Italian Entrepreneurs Worldwide), invites you to attend a round table event to hear from Italian entrepreneurs how they are fighting and winning competition from companies operating in emerging and lower cost countries.
The increasing competition from emerging economies raises concerns about the future of Italy's global market place. While Italian goods continue to show a higher level of quality and innovation, trade overlap increased and quality gap narrowed, suggesting that countries like China are putting increasing competitive pressure on Italian manufacturing. In order to maintain its qualitative advantage, successful companies are increasing their investments in product upgrading and innovation and rethinking their global strategies.
