This seminar will provide an overview of the nonimmigrant visa categories available to Italian professional who wish to work temporarily in the United States. In addition, the seminar will provide analysis of the various methods by which a foreigner may acquire permanent residence in the United States, including the relatively new PERM application process as well as other employment based immigrant categories. Discussion of new Department of State J-1 regulations and Department of Labor regulations which were promulgated in late July will also be addressed.
