CIIM Canada, Multimedia Nova Corporation and Corriere Canadese/Tandem, are honoured to present the CIIM Canada 2007 Awards Gala Dinner.
The CIIM awards are acknowledged and supported under the patronage of the office of the Italian Prime Minister. A representative of the Italian Government will be present at the event to award the recipients.
The awards include:
- Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 (Male)
- Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 (Female)
- Italian Ambassador 2007
- Giovanni Caboto Award for Future Leadership
The recipient of the 2007 Italian Ambassador Award this year is Andrea Bargnani, Italian professional basketball player of The Toronto Raptors and first overall pick in the 2006/2007 NBA draft.
The 2007 Giovanni Caboto future leadership Award will be presented to Frances Tibollo: a 19-year old philanthropist who has demonstrated and applied her unique and outstanding talents to charitable initiatives and has founded the Oaklands Foundation.
Partial proceeds raised at the Gala will be directed towards the Universal Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to providing educational assistance to children and youth in need worldwide by funding schools and teachers, with the goal of creating and inspiring a new generation of leaders.
